During the first half of the episode, Mansooreh opened one of the topics with a really funny/tragic story, to which I burst out laughing and we had to stop the show and my tears were washing away my make up and I couldn’t breathe…which is why it took me a while to get back into a remotely functional state of mind while we were recording.

ANYWAY, first topic was about public vs private schools. I used to go to private school until grade 5 then I begged my parents to let me go to the public school near where we lied and I had such an amazing time before moving to Canada and entering high school (as an ESL student who did not want to be in that country). But I always, actually liked studying so the rest was pointless. Our other topic was online dating — maybe it’s a solution for a country where the opposite sex face a lot of limitations to meet publicly, or is it just a fantasy drifting us further apart?
